Morning:
After breakfast, begin your sightseeing tour with a visit to Jakhu Temple, located at the highest peak of Shimla. Dedicated to Lord Hanuman, this temple offers breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding hills.

Next Stop:
Proceed to Indian Institute of Advanced Study formerly Viceregal Lodge (closed on Tuesday). Explore this historic building with a guided tour and learn about India’s colonial past. The famous Shimla Conference was held here, playing a key role during the partition era. Inside, you can view rare photographs and artifacts from that time.

Afternoon:
You may enjoy a scenic walk towards Mall Road (vehicles are not allowed). During the walk, see heritage buildings like:

• Kennedy Cottage 
• Gorton Castle 
• Railway Board Building 

• Gaiety Theatre

  Take a convenient ride via the Tourism Lift Shimla to reach Mall Road.

Leisure Time:
Spend a couple of hours exploring:
